Login with Facebook Help

If you are having trouble using the Facebook button and you are using Internet Exporer then follow these steps.

Before you start please note that that for this feature to work, you must be using the same email address on this website as you are using to log into Facebook. That is how you are linked from Facebook to this site.

The following instructions show you how to add sites that you know to be safe and that you use regularly to the 'Trusted Sites' area on Internet Explorer. This will help to ensure that site content and features are not blocked by IE.

1. So that you can keep these instructions on the screen, open another Internet Explorer (website browser) window and Login to your Facebook page.
2. Look at the bottom bar of Internet Explorer (your website browser) for the "Globe" icon. It may say Internet or Unknown Zone beside it.
3. Double click on the "Globe" icon to change your security settings (You can also open these settings from "Tools" then "Internet Options" and then click on the Security tab)

4. The Security window will open up, click on Trusted Sites

Now click on the “Sites” button and the Trusted Sites window opens.
5. Add https://www.facebook.com to your trusted websites. IMPORTANT: Note that this must be "https://" with the "s" at the end and not just "http://"
6. We also suggest that you uncheck the box that says, “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone” and also Add http://*.donegalcanoeclub.com You can copy and paste this in from here!

7. Click Close and then OK to close both windows.

8. Go back to donegalcanoeclub.com and try the Login with Facebook button again. It can take a few seconds to get verification from Facebook so wait for the browser to update.
